swisscleandrive^tmis a modular system that expands conventional cars to become plug-in hybrid electric vehicles with 4x4 drive and a lot more power. You can cut down massively on your CO₂ emissions and still enjoy driving your car like you love it.

The patented hybrid controller of swisscleandrive combines different drive systems under the hood of the Fiat 500. While driving, you can freely switch between them.

• Electric car with zero gasoline consumption and without CO2 emissions, 100 km/h fast and up to 30 km of range: More than enough for most of the everyday drives.
• Powerful 4x4 Hybrid (combination of thermal and electric motors) consuming less than 3 l/100 km: For longer drives, more power and four wheel drive.
• Conventional small car with average consumption of  5.1 l/100km: Longdistance, Autobahn (up to 160 km/h) and whenever the battery is empty or the power is saved for later.

swisscleandrive saves about 50% of fossile energy. It is refuelled at the domestic socket, ecopower included. The thermal engine runs on conventional unleaded and is refueled at the gaz station.
