swisscleandrive inc. now offers the plug-in hybrid electric drive for the Fiat Cinquecento also for production under licence and as a diy kit. The firm and their partners have focussed on easy assembly and the use of Fiat original parts from the very beginning.
In order to satisfy clients form OEM, after market converters and auto garages who make a living from selling the converted cars, to private clients and diy-ers, one can order either the parts or preassembled groups of components or the whole car with everything inside.

On august 29th 2011 swisscleandrive ltd. has been transformed to swisscleandrive inc. Some of the most brilliant technical partners and suppliers of the firm have come on board, ready to roll out the production of the converted cars for the first clients.

The new Battery pack is fit to go. It contains 16 Ah at 460 Volt. That is almost twice as much as in the previous version and will nearly double pure electric range and cut down on the need to ever start the thermal engine once again.

| Befor the leaves start falling, there will be the first production vehicles from swisscleandrive on the road. The clients are waiting anxiously, the engineers working ceaselessly. Boxes of selected battery cells packed like precious chocolates have arrived at cti-bcs, motors and large, fully enclosed and powerful inverters have made their way to the labs of the development- and production site.

The weather has been very december today. We have almost got one foot of snow during the day. I was excited if and how the fiat 500 swisscleandrive would feel on it. The drive started by plowing through a snow pile on the side of the road in order to get onto the street. That felt strong with 4x4.

Der Schlüssel zum Problem mit den Ladestationen.
Standardisierung und Einheitlichkeit sind grosse Themen wenn es um das Laden von elektrischen Fahrzeugen geht. Während das eine Lager neue Standards für Kabel und Steckverbindungen proklamiert, verwendet das andere lieber den bestehenden Industrie- und Haushaltstandard (CEE) auch in den Fahrzeugen. Nichtsdestotrotz stellt sich die Frage, wie die öffentliche Ladeinfrastruktur auszusehen hat und zu bedienen ist.
